Positive Culture Endorsed by Investors in People

Culture is everything here at Crest Plus, it guides how we treat each other as colleagues and the quality of service we deliver day-in, day-out to our customers.
That’s why we’re delighted that we received the news last week to confirm we’ve retained our Investors in People accreditation. The assessors noted a number of positives which make us feel extra proud:
- An engaged workforce who are positive about their work.
- There is a vision supported with a clear set of values.
- People confirm that the values reflect the culture within the business.
- People’s performance and the systems are in place meaning that people know what is expected of them.
- Staff agree that they feel empowered in their role and valued and appreciated for the work they do.
- The way people are led, managed and developed is supported by good systems and processes.
Val Lawton, Joint MD, expressed her thanks to all staff for playing their part in making Crest Plus a great place to work. She said: “Retaining the Silver accreditation is a very positive assessment result against the robust IIP framework and an amazing achievement result considering how much change has happened over recent years.
“Only 15% of organisations manage to achieve an accreditation this high and at the crux of it, it means that the right principles are in place. Moreover, it means all of us are making active efforts to make sure that everyone in the organisation feels the effects and are is valued.
Our assessment was a great opportunity to hear from staff – there’s always something to learn. We’ve got recommendations and an action plan so that we can keep improving and moving forward.”
