Meet The Relationships Team
Jun 01, 2021
Our Relationships Team is a vital part in the day-to-day management and processing of new contractors. Say “hello” to Jake, Daniel, Alice, Anna, Tasha, and Chris!
The Relationships Team
Whenever a contractor is referred to Crest Plus by an agency, their details will be passed on to a member of our Relationships Team to begin the onboarding process. The team will then contact the contractor to arrange a conversation where they will explain to the contractor their working options, provide a pay illustration based on their specific needs, answer any questions, and ensure the contractor chooses the right set-up for them: whether that’s Umbrella or CIS.
Following this initial conversation, registration documents are issued to the contractor via email and a member of our friendly Relationships Team will maintain contact with the contractor to support them with speedy and efficient document completion via our secure online portal.
Once all registration forms are complete, our Relationships Team passes their details on to the Business Support Team who will manage all aspects of compliance; conducting instant ID and Right to Work checks using our world-class software.
Every time a member of any Crest Plus team contacts a contractor, we provide their recruitment consultant with an update on their status to allow for efficient onboarding and ensure we’re all on the same page.
Communication between our contractors and the Relationships Team is one of the first steps in our efficient onboarding process. Click here to read more about how we onboard contractors quickly and compliantly – The Crest Plus Way – or, keep reading to meet the team.
Meet the Individuals Behind the Relationships Team

Why did you want to join Crest Plus?
I wanted to join Crest Plus to gain more experience within the finance industry. Crest Plus was established in 1999, therefore exercises a wealth of knowledge and compliance in all day-to-day operations, alongside being a UK leading payment solutions company, there is no better place to learn and progress than Crest. I’m looking forward to building both relationships and experience within the contracting industry, aiming to give the best service I can to each of our contractors.
How do you spend your free time?
At the weekends and in my free time, I love to be doing all things sporty. Being a massive Manchester United fan, I enjoy watching, playing and refereeing football as much as I can. I’ve also recently started playing golf, so any chance I can get out and practice, as I need it (a lot), I will. Other than sports, I enjoy catching up with friends and relaxing with a pint!
What are you looking forward to doing as lockdown restrictions ease?
With not being able to see many friends over the past year with lockdown, I plan on visiting as many of them as possible this summer, both up and down the country, preferably catching up in a beer garden! I’m also looking forward to getting back to playing sports and refereeing football at the weekend.
Daniel Watkins
Why did you want to join Crest Plus?
I wanted to join Crest Plus as I have worked here previously and it is an exciting place to be.
How do you spend your free time?
I spend my free time cycling, watching football, and gaming.
What are you looking forward to doing as lockdown restrictions ease?
I’m just looking forward to going to the pub!
Alice Green
Why did you want to join Crest Plus?
Joining the Crest Plus team has been great for developing my skill set. I like working in a customer-focused position as it plays into my strengths. The whole team are super friendly and willing to answer any questions I have about the job and the industry!
How do you spend your free time?
You’ll either find me with my dog or with my friends (maybe with a cheeky G&T in hand).
What are you looking forward to doing as lockdown restrictions ease?
The same as everyone else… I can’t wait to go on holiday somewhere very, very hot!
Anna Tinsley
Why did you want to join Crest Plus?
Crest Plus is a growing company and the experience I will gain will be great for me while I’m completing my International Business degree.
How do you spend your free time?
I’m a University student at Liverpool John Moores University, so I’m always busy doing coursework etc. Other than that, I have taken up cycling, but on an e-bike so I guess it’s cheating really!
What are you looking forward to doing as lockdown restrictions ease?
I can’t wait to spend weekends out with my friends again, we’ve got so many trips and holidays planned as soon as covid is out the way.

Why did you want to join Crest Plus?
When I was initially told about Crest Plus, it sounded like a really good company to work for that had the same values as me where all teams work together with one goal of helping the customers. Crest Plus has been growing even within difficult times and I really liked the idea of being part of the journey and helping them grow as a company.
How do you spend your free time?
In my free time, I do a lot of baking and trying new cooking recipes. I bake a lot for my family and friends, including Birthday cakes, cupcakes, brownies and cookies. I like to play with flavours a lot so at the moment I’ve been obsessed with lemon and gin flavoured cupcakes and cake – which has been a favourite with the girls.
What are you looking forward to doing as lockdown restrictions ease?
I’m most looking forward to having the option of going out for food or drinks with friends. I’m also looking forward to seeing family that I haven’t seen since the pandemic started and I’ve also got some friends in Paris that I’m eager to visit.
Chris Jones
Why did you want to join Crest Plus?
I was looking for a role in a field I had some experience in. I also was looking for a company that wasn’t as big as the one I was in because I like to feel that I am part of a team, not just a number for a corporation.
How do you spend your free time?
I spend my spare time climbing or at home tinkering with electronics (because I’m a bit of a nerd).
What are you looking forward to doing as lockdown restrictions ease?
When the lockdown is over I’m looking forward to visiting a few friends from across the country and hiking/drinking with them as living on my own I’ve not had real human company in a long time.
