Itemised payslip as standard with Crest Plus

Itemised payslip as standard with Crest Plus

Jul 25, 2018

Earlier this year the Government passed legislation requiring employers to provide an itemised payslip for all workers. The Employment Rights Act 1996 (Itemised Pay Statement) (Amendment) Order 2018 will come into force in April 2019.

Umbrella employees of Crest Plus already receive an itemised payslip. We have always believed this to be good working practice, and we believe it helps to demonstrate our commitment to being transparent and straight-forward to deal with.

Under the new legislation, payslips must be itemised for employees whose wages vary depending on how much time they have worked. The law states that the itemised payslip must show the combined number of hours worked for which payment is being made, or it must itemise the figures for different types of work undertaken and/or different rates of pay.

We are pleased to say our advanced payroll system already supports this.

We appreciate that it’s not always easy to keep track of pay when you’re working varied hours so it’s important that payslips are as clear as possible so that Umbrella employees understand exactly how their take-home pay has been calculated.
