How to register for our CIS service

First of all you will need to decide which way of working with us will suit you best.

Our CIS proposition is for those of you that wish to work on a self-employed basis in the construction industry. Self-employed independent contractors do not enjoy the statutory benefits that employees do.

So, as a self-employed CIS subcontractor that is registered with us you will not receive sick pay, holiday pay, pension entitlement or maternity, paternity or adoption benefits. If you wish to receive those benefits then CIS is not for you, but Crest Plus’s umbrella employment proposition may well be as it carries with it all of those benefits and rights.

Similarly, for those of you who want to work through the vehicle of your own limited company then CIS is not right for you, but our Limited Company proposition is likely to be a good choice for you.

You need to register with us as a self-employed CIS subcontractor before we will engage you to carry out any work. Our streamlined registration process makes this quick and easy to do.

You can register online or over the phone. Online registration is the most convenient way for you to register and you can do so at a time to suit you.
